Founder, Ally Sound

I’ve dedicated my career to elevating and preserving recorded music while supporting and inspiring its community.

Since studying at the University of Colorado Denver, I’ve worked on hundreds of records, including several GRAMMY-winning albums and historically significant restoration projects. Curtis McMurtry, LVDY, Dave Bruzza, Cellista, Stelth Ulvang, Caitlin Cannon, Roland Guerin, and both volumes of Third Man Records’ monument, The Rise & Fall of Paramount Records, to name a few. (See more credits here.)

My mastering style is rooted in thoughtful listening and careful attention to my clients’ creative vision.

I’m deeply involved in music industry leadership, advocacy, and mentorship through my work with The Recording Academy, the Audio Engineering Society (AES), SoundGirls, and the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA).

Within these organizations, I use my voice for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and I’m thoroughly committed to enacting change. I empathize with how difficult it can be for aspiring professionals to envision themselves in positions where they are under-represented. That’s why I take my influence as a role model seriously.

When I’m not in the studio, you can find me enjoying Colorado’s vibrant music scene at various concerts and festivals along the Front Range.
